Being all the rage of modern active entertainment, escape rooms are mostly considered one of the favorite pastimes of today’s adults – be it a company of friends looking to have some good clean fun or employees out for a team-building experience in an informal setting. However, when it comes to families with children, many wonder whether an escape room for kids would be a great amusement activity. Indeed, many escape games involve sophisticated puzzles and complex plots, and succeeding in them requires both significant factual knowledge and practical expertise – sometimes in combination with considerable physical strength and agility. But this does not mean it isn't a good activity for children!
Playing escape rooms with kids provides a modern, safe, and fun way for families to have a terrific time together while developing children’s mental abilities and teamwork skills. It is also worth noting that the busy contemporary lifestyle offers parents – each likely to juggle a job or two and house chores – precious few opportunities to strengthen the bonds with their little ones while working together on the same task, physically and intellectually, under pressure due to time constraints and yet in a totally controlled, non-dangerous environment. This is why visiting an escape room for families may go a long way toward building or further improving strong and healthy relationships between parents and kids and boosting children’s confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills – not to mention being a fun family activity in the first place.
Another benifit of bringing the kids to Boxroom Escape Games is our private rooms! We never mix you with strangers so you and your family get complete privacy while playing!
We escaped!.. can you?! A challenging, immersive, all-around fun experience...
Went there as a group of 6 family members and friends... such a great time! The room provided many challenges and puzzles, and, working as a team, we escaped!--Alexis was our gamemaster, and she did a fantastic job of laying out the context of the adventure and communicating with us while in the room... she also allowed us to try the VR machine before leaving the venue. All-in-all, just a great experience--give them a try, you won't be sorry. :)
